WHERE THE PUBLIC PROSECUTION AT THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL OF RUSIZI OPERATES

The offices of the Public Prosecution at the Intermediate Level of RUSIZI are located in the village of Mont Cyangugu, CYANGUGU Cell, KAMEMBE Sector, in the RUSIZI District, Western Province. They are housed in a building adjacent to the one used by the RUSIZI Intermediate Court.

This level of prosecution has jurisdiction over the districts of Rusizi and Nyamasheke.

SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE PUBLIC PROSECUTION AT THE INTERMEDIATE LEVEL OF RUSIZI

1. Informing individuals about the decisions made regarding their cases
2. Receiving and assisting victims and witnesses
3. Receiving individuals seeking an appointment with the Chief Prosecutor of the Public Prosecution at the Intermediate Level of RUSIZI.
4. Notifying individuals when their cases have been submitted to court.
5. Receiving case files from the police.
6. Assisting individuals seeking to buy their traffic accident case files
7. Receiving individuals summoned by the Public Prosecution
8. Issuing Criminal Record Certificates.
