NPPA Organizes Five-Day Refresher Training on Asset Management
The National Public Prosecution Authority (NPPA) is hosting a five-day refresher training aimed at building capacity and enhancing the accuracy of asset recording and reporting. The sessions will also introduce the new inventory management module and explain the updated procedures for registering assets.
The training is taking place at NPPA’s headquarters from 14 to 18 July 2025. It brings together key stakeholders in asset management, including the Director of Finance, Chief Accountant, Logistics Officer, and 12 Internal Resource Managers (IRMs) representing prosecution offices across the country.
The training is designed to achieve the following objectives:
Introduce updated procedures for registering assets acquired during the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
Train participants on the new inventory management module to improve asset tracking and control.
Correct and update the NPPA asset register in line with audit recommendations.
Ensure the proper registration and documentation of all newly acquired assets.
Ensure full implementation of the Auditor General’s recommendations from the audit for the year ended 30 June 2024.
Strengthen collaboration between Finance, IRM, and Logistics teams in maintaining asset records.
Enhance the technical capacity of staff responsible for asset management.
